Yoga Education
Livia Jenvey was first introduced to yoga in 2000 to help her recover from a physical injury. After seeing yoga’s benefits towards her speedy recovery, she became hooked and decided to make it a fundamental part of her life.
Livia completed her 200 hour teacher training with the Sivananda Lineage Integral Yoga Institute founded by Sri Swami Satchidananda in San Francisco, CA. Through the Integral Yoga Institute she learned a fundamental practice of teaching yoga from her main teacher she studied with Dijon Carew. There she developed a foundation of teaching Hatha Yoga Asanas, Meditation, Deep Relaxation, Pranayama Breathing Practices, Raja Yoga Philosophy, and the Yoga Sutra to students.
From there Livia carried on to complete her advanced 500 hour training and study with teachers: Jane Austin for Prenatal Yoga, Judith Hanson Lasater for Restorative and Renew Yoga, and Shiva Rae for Vinyasa Yoga.
Livia is a Registered 500-hour level Yoga Alliance Yoga Teacher and a certified Relax & Renew Yoga Teacher. She started practicing Hatha yoga in 2000 and has been teaching since 2007. She teaches a myriad of yoga styles such as Hatha, Integral, Prenatal, Restorative, and Vinyasa Flow. With each style that she teach she incorporates different levels of postures and breathing practices to engage the students in a dynamic class which is safe, meditative, relaxing, and fun.
